About Us

Windsor Park...

  • is located near Eastland Mall off North Sharon Amilty Road in the Windsor Park subdivision.
  • is made up of approximately 796 students in grades pre-K through fifth, representing 27 countrieses and 19 languages.
  • is a Basic School Reform Model theme school which promotes the for "C"; Community, Character, Curriculum, & Culture 
  • has adopted Ernest Boyer's Basic School philosophy where students and faculty are a community of learners committed to an emphasis on character and core curriculum.
  • utlitlizes Sheltered Instructional Observation Protocol (SIOP) to meet the needs of our large English Language Learner population.
  • utilizes Inclusive Practices to meet the needs of students with Individual Education Programs (IEP).
  • also utilizes Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) to promote positive behavior and teach character education.
  • has a diverse faculty that is comprised of new and vertern professionals.
  • has a budding Parent Teacher Association that is working hard to meet the needs of parents, students, & staff. The
  • classrooms are equipped with 2 computers, as well as monitored Internet access. There are also 30 Internet accessible computers in our lab, 10 computers in the media center, and a wireless laptop cart that can be utilized in any of our classrooms.
