Academics Academics at Wilson Middle School Wilson Middle School offers a variety of challenging and rigorous courses to students across all disciplines and grade levels. Advanced Writing Topics -  [7th Grade] Advanced TI-84 Integration Algebra 1A/1B Active Science Labs [6th, 7th, 8th] To ensure that these and other courses maintain high standards and utilize best practices and resources, Wilson Middle School employs a number of techniques: Content planning with Curriculum Facilitators Specialized assistance in writing and literacy from Literacy Coach Curriculum planning with CMS district personnel Vertical planning in departments Common assessments Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools offers Honors and accelerated courses for students.  Placement in these courses is determined by performance on the North Carolina End-of-Grade tests [EOG].
