In August We Began Our Fifth Year!
"Soar High for Five" is our theme this year.
Torrence Creek Elementary School opened its doors in August 2005. The first year the school had 960 students in Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. We have grown rapidly with a current student enrollment of approximately 1200 students.
Strategic Plan 2014
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools is holding a series of community forums as we develop the Strategic Plan 2014. We’re looking for feedback from parents, students and members of the community as we work on a roadmap to guide the district through the next four years. The Strategic Plan 2014 will help us plan the best way to ensure success for all of our students. A draft of the plan may be found on the CMS Web site at: www.cms.k12.nc.us.
