Dear Members of the Statesville Road School Family:

I am delighted to welcome you to the 2009-2010 school year at Statesville Road School. We are looking forward to a great year as we work collaboratively for the benefit of our children. As we start this school year, a special welcome is extended to our new Statesville Road School family members. We are pleased to have you as partners in education. We know that many school choices were available to you. We are pleased that you chose our school.
The Statesville Road School staff is committed to providing each child with appropriate and challenging educational opportunities, which will promote sound growth and development for that child. We believe that the successful education of children depends on effective communication and cooperation between home and school. We invite active involvement of parents in our school through our PTA and school related activities. Open communication between parents, teachers, and administrators is always encouraged.
Look at the handbook and it will give you information about our school that will help you become better acquainted with our programs and procedures. It is intended to supplement the CMS Student and Parent Handbook and the Student Rights, Responsibilities, and Character Development Handbook, which govern system-wide policies and rules. I encourage you to read all of these publications very carefully and keep them available for future reference. Your children and the school will be more successful if we work together.

Sincerely,

Ronnie Scott

Principal
