Breaking News: Randolph IB named Magnet School of Excellence

MSA: Randolph IB Middle School has been named a Magnet School of Excellence by the Magnet Schools of America. This is the highest distinction a magnet school can achieve. Schools are chosen based on their demonstration of commitment to high academic standards, curriculum innovation, successful desegregation/diversity efforts, specialized teaching staffs, and parent and community involvement. checkit1: Guided Classroom Assistance checkit1:

Guided Classroom Assistance will be used during 3rd and 4th quarters in an effort to increase comprehension and instill positive work habits. This is essentially a well organized study hall and will be held during a designated time for each grade level. Click here to read more about Guided Classroom Assistance. Yearbooks may be purchased online by visiting the Jostens website. Order your copy today!

Be sure to check your student’s book bag every Thursday for a plastic envelope containing important school papers. The plastic envelope should be returned to school on Friday.

Randolph IB Middle School, located in Charlotte, North Carolina is part of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Public School System. The school educates approximately 900 children each year. Randolph is a full IB magnet school.

Randolph has formed an innovative partnership with UNCC to become a Professional Development School.  Through this collaboration, UNCC students work with Randolph faculty to reach the goals of preparation of new teachers, faculty development, improved practice, and enhanced student achievement.
