Attention Rising 9th graders and Their Parents

Providence High School will host "Panthers on the Prowl" for rising 9th graders and their parents on Thursday, April 15 in the PHS auditorium.  "Panthers on the Prowl" is an orientation to Providence which will provide information about the differences between middle school and high school, specific curriculum highlights for 9th graders, a look at electives that students may want to consider as upper classmen, as well as an opportunity to explore clubs, sports, and fine arts extracurricular options.  The program will begin promptly at 6pm with a meeting in the auditorium.  The event will conclude at 8pm.  This is the first opportunity to begin the exciting transition to Providence High School.  You don't want to miss it!

Parent Assistant - Information Regarding Checking Grades
After a grading period, parents will need to select the appropriate grading period to see the correct grades. To do this, choose a course from the home screen and click "Details." Then, choose a reporting term from the pull down menu at the top of the page and select "Display." Click Return to go back to the main page.  The way that the Parent Assistant Module treats grades is outlined in the 2009-10 Parent-Student Handbook on pages 7 and 8.  The online document may be found at the following website:
