Uniform Policy
Students are to wear uniforms all five days each week. "Personality Days" will be randomly selected monthly for Top Tiger students only! Additionally, students must wear uniforms to all Field Trips unless otherwise noted on the permission slip. The uniform consists of the following:
- Short or long-sleeve navy blue, white, light blue, or tan knit polo-style shirt with a collar. Navy blue, white, light blue, or tan turtleneck shirts or buttoned shirt with a collar can substitute.
- Boys: khaki or navy colored twill pants or shorts.
- Girls: khaki or navy colored twill pants, shorts, skirts, or jumpers.
- Navy blue or white sweater, sweatshirt, or cardigan may be worn on top of shirt.
- Closed toe shoes, preferably sneakers (open toe sandals and/or flip-flops are not permitted.)
- Socks, kneesocks, or tights are required--Navy blue, black, or white are suggested.
- Pants or shorts must be worn at the waist--use of a belt is required.
- Blue jeans may not be worn as part of the uniform.
- T-shirts of any color may not be worn as part of our uniform with the exception of Pawtuckett t-shirts, which can only be worn on Fridays.
- Coats, jackets, and sweaters that do not comply with the uniform may be worn to and from school and when transitioning between buildings, but not during class.

Wearing the school uniform is an expectation of all students at Pawtuckett as 100% compliance is our daily goal. School staff will work with parents who do not comply with our uniform policy as follows:
- 1st time out of uniform--parent phone call and reminder letter of uniform policy
- 2nd time and beyond of uniform non-compliance--Parent will be called and asked to bring proper uniform attire to the school for the students to be changed or if the parent cannot be reached or refuses, the child will be given a clean loaner uniform to wear during the school day. Written reminder of the uniform policy will also be sent home with the student.
