Mission
Northwest School of the Arts provides a pre-professional, college preparatory program that focuses on rigorous academic classes and advanced educational experiences in the visual and performing arts. We do this by providing a strong foundation in reading, writing, mathematics, science, language arts and social studies. We offer a full complement of Advanced Placement courses. We also offer effective hands on training in practical, real world arts experiences with local and national professionals.

Our learning community
We strive to prepare all students to succeed both academically and socially by cultivating a life-long learning community partnership within a safe, respectful, nurturing and supportive environment. Our diverse learning community is safe, focusing on respect, personal dignity, and self-worth.
