Helpful Resources for IB Parents
A decade
ago, when the IB program began at Myers Park High School, the
International Baccalaureate Parents Advisory Council (IBPAC), a
non-profit, Section 501(c)(3) corporation, was created to provide
much-needed parental support for the students, teaching staff and the
coordinator, Dr. Ron Thomas. Through countless volunteer hours and
generous financial support, our parents remain a strong and unified
group working toward one goal; the success of our
students.
The IBPAC governing body is comprised of
an Executive Board and many parent committee chairs/liaisons. In
addition, over one hundred support parents are available to assist with
a wide range of tasks from proctoring tests to office
duties.
We strongly encourage all parents of IB
students to get involved with this very worthwhile organization.

-It is simple to do and amazing how far these funds stretch. The MP IB VIC school number is 5614. It's important to relink every year. You can relink online using the link provided or when you are in the grocery store. You can also split your dollars between schools - every little bit helps!
