Volunteer Opportunities

Become involved!  There are many opportunities to be involved in the Booster Club.  If you want to know the best way to stay informed during the school year, it's to volunteer!  When you are working at the school, you get to know your child's friends, teachers, and other parents, and you always know what's going on!

Below is a description of the areas where your help would be greatly appreciated:

Concession Stand After School: This concession stand is open year-round from 3:45 until 4:00 everyday.  You may want to volunteer once per month or more, depending on your schedule.

Concession Stand for Games: This concession stand is open during the sporting events from 4:00 until the end of the game.  There are two shifts available to fit most schedules.

Landscaping: Landscaping needs include planting, weeding, maintaining appearance of the school, etc., and is done both Fall and Spring in conjunction with the PTA with a flexible weekday or weekend schedule.

Annual Spring Raffle: This is the Booster Club's major fundraiser.  There are numerous opportunities here such as envelope stuffing, ticket tallies, money counting, and dance chaperones, most of which take place during the school day.  The raffle runs for three weeks around the end of February.

Banquets: There are two banquets, the Fall and Spring Awards Ceremonies.  Help is needed setting up and cleaning up.  Both take place in the evening and are very easy.

Donations: Being a non-profit organization, donations are always welcome and greatly appreciated, as they help to improve McClintock in many of its endeavors.  Donations are needed as door prizes for the raffle.  Remember, your donations are tax-deductible.
