When you fill out the application you have the choice of giving your "1% rebates" to Independence H.S.
Harris Teeter? Click here to link your VIC card to Independence H.S.!
The School Account Number is 1870. Even if you don't use a VIC card you can tell the sales clerk that you want to support Independence H.S. and then give him/her the number.

You can link your VIC card to up to five schools and Harris Teeter will evenly distribute funds to the schools. The program runs from August 1, 2006 - May 31, 2007 and begins again in the fall.

Harris Teeter also offers a "Milk Challenge". Save the caps from any flavor of Harris Teeter Brand or Hunter Farms gallon or half gallon milk containers. Deliver the caps to the school office and the school can earn up to $1,000!
Eating Out
Beginning Thursday, Nov. 12th, every Thursday will be IHS night at Angela's Restaurant, located at Mint Worth Shopping Center on Margaret Wallace Road. You can dine in or order out. Just be sure to mention IHS so they will apply 10% of your bill to the IHS PTSA Beautification Project. They have great Pizza at reasonable prices.
