Volunteers and Partners Transamerica Reinsurance adopted Byers when it opened in 2002. Associates volunteer at the school, and they hold biannual clothing and school supply drives, provide goody bags on report card days and host a graduation party each spring. In 2003, they began a design contest for fourth and fifth grade students to submit their original designs for their annual corporate holiday card.
