Exxon Mobil Donates $750 to David Cox Road Elementary
David Cox Road Elementary has received a $750 grant from the Exxon/Mobil Educational Alliance program to support the school's Math and Science programs. Times Oil Corporation of Lincolnton, North Carolina and Fairway Exxon worked with school officials to secure the grant which is one of 4000 available to schools across the country served by Exxon/Mobil and one of nine scholarship grants provided by Times Oil Corporation.
"David Cox Elementary works hard to make learning interesting and fun," said David Boyd, President of Times Oil Corporation. As an Exxon Marketer, I am proud to help our young people in the community.
The Exxon/Mobil Educational Alliance program is designed to provide Exxon and Mobil retailers with an opportunity to invest in the future of their communities through educational grants to neighborhood schools. Exxon/Mobil and Times Oil Corporation believe that, as members of the community, local retailers are best qualified to work with local educators to help identify schools and programs most in need of support.
Times Oil Corporation met stringent eligibility requirements before applying for and being awarded this grant, including having a commitment to provide a superior buying experience for customers.
