| My name is Ms. Nora Barco and I am from Argentina. I am an ESL teacher at Briarwood Academy! You want to know the story behind my hair-cut? Here it goes: It all goes back to a promise I made before coming to America as an international teacher. I was elated to have been offered a job and to be welcome here. Therefore, as an act of faith and thankfulness, I made a promise that I would have my hair cut short and donate it to a children’s organization. And so I did! I heard about Locks of Love through a dear and generous friend of mine and there was no doubt in my mind. I mailed them my hair.
