Mr. Campbell
Principal

When students ask Mr. Campbell how he likes being a principal, he tells them "it is the hardest job he has ever loved." Mr. Campbell has been a loving principal for 16 years and has 29 years of experience in education. When he is not at work, he enjoys gardening, cooking, reading, woodworking and sports. Mr. Campbell has been married for 32 years and has two children, Darcy who is 28, and Matt who is 24.

Assistant Principal

Ms. Givens is a native New Yorker. She has worked with children in various settings for the past 23 years. Ms. Givens holds a Bachelor Arts degree from Binghamton University, a Masters of Arts degree from Adelphi University and a Master of Science in Education from Baruch College. She is a very passionate educator/administrator and believes that "Success is the Only Option!" When Ms. Givens is not at work, she enjoys reading and traveling.

Mrs. Everitt
Literacy Facilitator K-2

Mrs. Everitt is the K-2 Literacy Facilitator here at Billingsville Elementary. She has been teaching for 20 years and has her Masters in K-12 Reading Education from UNC-Charlotte. She truly enjoys working at Billingsville. Mrs. Everitt teaches reading groups, coordinates our Accelerated Reader program, and works with staff members to help meet the needs of the children at Billingsville. Once Mrs. Everitt leaves school, she enjoys spending time with her husband. They both enjoy camping and spending time with their closest friends. But once the evening has ended, she gets her rest so that she can be at Billingsville bright and early to the job she loves so much!

Mrs. Dalgleish
Literacy Facilitator 3 -5

Mrs. Dalgleish is a Charlotte native who graduated from West mecklenburg High School. She holds a BA from Winthrop University and a MA in School Administration from Gardner-Webb University. She is married to a Charlotte native and has a daughter, Catrina, who is a freshman at Lees McRae College. Mrs. Dalgleish began her teaching career in Gaston County, but has spent many years with CMS teaching sixth grade and working in assessment at the high school level. She worked in the private school sector for a couple of years before returning to CMS this school year. Mrs. Dalgleish enjoys traveling (she spent 3 weeks in France this past summer), spending time with family and friends, and cooking. She's been told by many that she makes the BEST Bar-B-Que sauces in the world!
