Bain PTA is in need of an overall Coordinator for our annual Field Day which will be held in June of this school year.  This coordinator would manage the meetings and planning of Field Day.  The new Field Day board is in place, so this is a "management" position only:

  • Field Day volunteers:  Neha Burns
  • Field Day T's: Robin Boyles
  • Field Day Games:  Shawn Shaver

Please contact Julie Pence at jpence@carolina.rr.com for further information.

Reminder to "re-link" Your Shopping Cards!

Thank you so much for your support if you "linked" one of your shopping cards to Bain Elementary during the 2008-09 school year!  Many people don't realize that the stores require you to sign up each and every school year, even if you were signed up last year!  So don't forget to link your card to Bain Elementary.  We earned lots of easy money last year just by having parents, family and friends shopping at these stores.  If you've never "linked" before it is very easy; we earn money each time you present your "shopping card" and make selected purchases (usually all store brand items).  Don't forget to ask grandparents to "link" too!

Here are some easy web links (you will leave the Bain PTA site) to link your shopping cards to Bain:

Food Lion:  To link your MVP card you will need to choose Bain Elementary from the list of schools, then enter your MVP number.

https://www.foodlion.com/IntheCommunity/ShopandShare/secure/RegisterMVPCards.asp

Harris Teeter:  Our school code is 1896.  (This is the corrected number.  I previously listed the number incorrectly as 1986.)

Target:  Our school code is 80409
