Play Fair
CMS wants to make sure all our schools are playing fair when it comes to athletic eligibility. We are taking steps to make sure all our parents and students know the eligibility rules before athletes take the field.
All student-athletes will be required to attend an informational meeting and sign an honor code before playing sports. Coaches will let students know when the meetings will be held.
In addition, beginning with this fall sports season, parents of athletes will be required to attend an informational meeting and sign an honor code before their child is allowed to play their first game.
The required parent meetings are scheduled as follows:
Fall Sports 2009 will be held on: TBA at 6:30pm in AK Auditorium
As a district, we take athletic-eligibility violations very seriously and want to make sure all parents are clear on the rules. If you have any questions about athletic eligibility or the required parent meetings, please call me at 980-343-0860 x 275.
