TESTING!! ATTENTION SENIORS Competency Testing Dates:   These test are a requirement to graduate with a DIPLOMA!!! Computer Skills (Performance) March 18th Computer Skills (Multiple Choice) March 24 Computer (Online) April 21st, 23rd, and 28th Competency (Reading) April 14th Competency (Math) April 15th EXTENDED DAY AND RECOVERY IS OFFERED EVERY TUESDAY AND THURSDAY FROM 2:30 P.M. TO 4:30 P.M. TRANSPORTATION is PROVIDED for STUDENTS to TAKE ADVANTAGE of THIS OPPORTUNITY to RECEIVE ONE on ONE ASSISTANCE AND to IMPROVE YOUR GRADES !! IN THE GARINGER CAMPUS AUDITORIUM         FCCLA- BRIGHT IDEAS GRANT WINNERS Entrepreneurial Spirit Project for Garinger Chapter FCCLA. Grant will be used for students to purchase supplies and incorporate more technology into their competition entry for FCCLA STAR events  in April. Donations are still being taken to help pay for competition registration and hotel stay.  Contact Ms. Alcox for more information. CONGRATULATIONS TO JACKIE MOODY MISS GARINGER 2008-2009 Congratulations to Mr. "2009"-Joshua Smith & Miss "2009"-Loraine Roberts Garinger High School was featured in a 1962 edition of National Geographic and Architectural Forum as Charlotte-Mecklenburg's showplace high school. The new high school was to become the largest secondary school in the state during the mid-sixties with a legendary history of academics and superb athletic teams. The original Charlotte High School has been through many changes since the first diploma was presented in 1909, but its mission has never wavered.
